I had met my husband, Doug, on my first day at Loyola College, where I graduated with an English degree. In fact, the first time that we held hands we were on a Loyola College brochure.
Two weeks after I met Doug, he crashed his MGB sports car and knocked out his front teeth. That is when I knew that I really liked him because all of his materialistic attributes disappeared, at least for a while.
Today, we are married and have two grown children, and I had returned to school to take a few writing courses, hoping to freelance. Some of my other hobbies are tennis, biking, jogging, reading, golf, and traveling.
I have had some interesting travel experiences. I sat in the co-pilots seat on the way to St. Barths. I traveled to Bimini in the Bahamas by boat and we docked next to a yacht occupied by old men and hookers. My high school French class traveled to Paris, the travel agent had booked us in a brothel. I was also scammed by a pedicab in New York.
In addition, I won a car when I was 16.
Oh, one more thing, I love to have fun!
